Magali Kiabilua

Magali Kiabilua is a Legal Drafter at Life & Legacy Counselors born and raised in Pretoria, South Africa. Magali moved from South Africa to the United States to attend Salisbury University, located on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science in 2020.

Before joining Life and Legacy Counselors, Magali had the opportunity to work as a Legal Research Intern at the International Centre for Missing and Exploited Children (ICMEC). She supported the organization’s research arm by conducting substantive legal and public policy research and analysis, writing, and editing a variety of publications. Her research advocated for systems to better protect migrant and displaced children from falling victim to abuse and exploitation.

Outside of her role at Life and Legacy Counselors, Magali is an active member of her church, Community, Character, Courage, (also known as 3C Church), and serves as the leader of a women’s cell group each week. Magali is also a lover of history, and frequently visits all the vast museums, monuments, and memorials that our nation’s capital has to offer.

Magali is passionate about community service, human and civil rights, and the pursuit of equitable social and economic justice. She intends to put these interests into action by pursuing a law degree in the near future.
