Naquita Ervin

Naquita Ervin serves as the estate planning paralegal for the Life and Legacy Counselors. She has worked in various areas of the legal field since May 2000. It was during this time, Naquita was introduced to the world of real estate. While working for a real estate attorney, Naquita assisted with conducting settlements and giving guidance on estates and trusts. She also learned how to devise deeds and mortgage docs, learned tax sale and probate processes, in addition, she also learned how to read titles. From there, Naquita worked for a divorce attorney and learned the real estate market from that perspective.

Naquita journeyed on to work for a prominent foreclosure firm where she was tasked with handling evictions and later ended up working for a title company where she reconciled settlement files. Thereafter, Naquita worked under contract at the Department of Justice as a supervisory paralegal specializing in asset forfeiture in the District of Columbia. This experience opened her eyes on how to navigate the purchase of government owned property that often needs quick liquidation.

Naquita also worked for a brief time at a law firm who represented condominium associations and HOAs. With all this real estate exposure and experience, there was no doubt that Naquita should just become a realtor. If you're looking for someone with an all-around perspective on all things real estate, it's Naquita.
